Pregnancy Nausea and Natural Ways to Ease the Queasiness

Let's cut to the chase here, if you've made your way to this post, you are probably suffering with nausea during pregnancy. I suffered very badly during my second pregnancy. I compiled a quick punch list of what one can do to ease the queasiness.

Major Disclaimer - I am not a doctor or health professional. I'm a mom blogger who knows what has worked with myself in hopes they will help someone else get over morning sickness during pregnancy.

I ended up in tears many times because I felt so sick, and felt tremendous guilt for checking out of my fun family life. My doctor gave some suggestions but didn't prescribe medication because I wasn't vomiting. I tried everything I could to try to ease the queasiness.

Here is what worked for me:

Apparently, the Sea-Band Mama wristbands stimulate the P6 Nei Kuan pressure point in the wrist to remedy nausea and vomiting. They are made of a soft knit fabric in a pretty pink, so they are comfortable and attractive to wear.

Plus, the wristbands come in their own little clear plastic case. In my opinion, they are definitely worth a try if you are suffering.

The Sea-Band Mama Ginger Lozenges are also worth trying if you are feeling likely to lose your lunch. They don't have any artificial colors or flavors, are made with essential ginger oils that provide upset stomach relief, and they contain folic acid.

They are a great idea to have in your anti-nausea arsenal. The wristbands and lozenges can pack a one two punch together or work separately to combat morning, afternoon or all day sickness.

Preggie Pop Drops

Preggie Pops and Preggie Pop Drops are great especially if you are not crazy about ginger. These use USDA Organic natural ingredients which have been proven to decrease nausea.

Morning Wellness Spray for Occasional Morning Sickness

This is an aromatherapy spray safe, naturally uplifting and queasy-busting ginger citrus herbal aromatherapy spray. It is such a lovely scent made form all natural botanicals. It is useful long after the nausea subsides!
